Potentially. Could you talk me through your use case a bit better so I can understand what would actually be needed? As in, is this a matter of you playing ROM hacks that change catch rates for individual Pokémon, fangames with fakemon, the FR/LG Safari Zone, something else?

193 The above sprite has a 1/8192 chance of being shiny. (Modern browsers will give it a yellow glow if so.)

Hey, I use this calculator a lot for my hardcore nuzlockes and I'm wondering if there could be an 'advanced mode' or something that allows the raw input of custom catch rates.

ZG

Yo! Thanks for the calculator!

Pre-elite four, yes. Post-game when you get Timer Balls you can get it up to 9.265% with sleep or 7.095% with paralysis.

nevermind I immediately found the answer my question, pure skill issue in reading

TC

Interested in how things change between pokemon with the same catch rate - under the same optimal conditions (1HP + sleep + ultra ball), Mewtwo has a rate of 4.366%, but Palkia's is 50.284%? Does Palkia have a higher catch rate at the Spear Pillar for story purposes? or am I missing something with the calculation?

Dawn

I’ve been trying to catch a 1 hp azelf for 2 hours how have I not caught it yet I hate this game (/j)

jpedia

Thanks for the calculator.
Crazy that Moltres in Leaf Green only has a 4,366% catch rate in the upper best circumstances.

Gui

15 dusk balls on a 10% HP sleeping Giratina and nothing. First ultra ball I throw I capture it lol

Tentaculos

Como que 4,36% 1HP dormido y con ultraballs contra suicune.

RoninTheDev

Thanks so much for this! It helped me catch Mewtwo only using regularPokeballs.

Eli

Thanks im caching a magneton in firered

Funfnfun

Cool

Ethan

This helped me catch Lugia in a basic Poke Ball after I learned that there's no reason to get it down to 1 HP, just 49% or lower. Huge time saver, thanks!

Enigmatico

Catch mechanics are weird because I caught Ho-Oh in HGSS with my very first ultra ball in the very first try, but I'm 40 ultra balls and I still haven't caught Suicune despite having the same catch rate.

Honton129

Welp, time to suffer with this 0.635% catch rate!

Cake

Takes longer then to find a shiny Nut

Ethan

This surprises me beacuase I fought zapdos on my first ultra ball

Josh

I likez

I’m referring to legendary Pokémon in gen 3 (they all have the same catch rate). There’s no difference between exactly 1hp and 11 percent hp if trying to catch a sleeping or paralyzed mewtwo with timer balls or ultra balls.
