Thanks. I may not be an adult, but middle school is hard, and as someone who doesn’t have popular kid qualities, it is even harder. I recently started watching the anime again, and I was hesitant to do so. But this did allow me to see I’m not the only person in this situation, and that who I am is who I am. I don’t have to change for a group who I don’t know, let alone a group who annoys me 80% to death. So thank you for letting me know I can enjoy what I want.

Here’s a tip: there is an official Pokédex website that you can use. I usually use it to scoff at how Terapagos does not fit in with Koraidon and Miraidon, but it can be used for everything.

Done. I apologize; this was literally an article from 2006.
Could you please remove the R-word from this article? I want to recommend this page to people but I don't want to link them to a page that has an ableist slur. It makes me very uncomfortable and while this type of language was common in 2006, it's frowned upon nowadays and for good reason.
Glad you enjoyed!
Bots these days can easily solve math problems, unfortunately. Naming that Pokémon has the advantage of being very specialized and thus unlikely to be solved by mass spambots, while also being generally fairly solvable by the website's actual target audience but not bot farming.
I might one day swap it out for a general third-party solution like reCAPTCHA, if the custom-built verification stops being effective, but in the meantime, you can click the "Don't know it" link until you get a Pokémon you recognize.
Really nice blog post. I can see why many people are into Pokémon as, at least to my knowledge, there doesn't seem to be a better fantasy animal collection game. I personally don't think that the games are childish at least, however I do sort of think the anime / films are more childish than any other of the media that is associated with the Pokémon brand. It's really nice to hear your opinion about this.
Keep up the good work.

P.s. Could you change the Pokemon captcha out for something else? Maybe a maths question? I am bloody terrible at naming these Pokémon, haha!
