Welcome to the Cave of Dragonflies guestbook.
Just discovered this site, and I'm loving all your theories, especially the History of Training. That one in particular is inspiring aspects towards a fanfic I've been working on for over a year now (titled [spoiler"]The Distorted Man" with only the Prolouge posted so far).
The Zodiac is also extremely impressive, and gets a 12/10 on my personal scorecard.
While I'm at it, I should mention I loved every second of the Marquee of Doom (that's my secret to surviving it, by the way. Being in love with people enough to want to explore their minds).
I missed a short section of it when I stole a glance at my Clash of Clans town, so I'm about to brave it again and experience the rest that was lost to me accepting my prize.
My one desire (if it's even possible from a technical standpoint) is if you could somehow have a misspelled word that you have to backtrack half a paragraph to fix, and the retype what was lost exactly, somewhere near the end (or past the reward) for the truly insane (like myself!). Perhaps even that leads to a misspelling that gets corrected right away. I don't know; I just was inspired having not seen it in the fabulous Marquee of Doom!
And with that, I shall seal this letter off and send it with all my [insert positive but socially appropriate emotion here].
[insert slightly different positive but appropriate emotion here as the Salutation],

Uuuunfortunately that's the 2D Sugimori-style art, not the Home-style renders. Totally different style that would stick out like a sore thumb next to everything else, and also no shiny versions. So these are not usable for the picker. Aaaagh Pokémon Home was supposed to solve the "no consistent set of images for Pokémon" problem
2D art just dropped! 😁
Dude, i'm trying to capture this zapdos but zamn, even with hypnosis and on 1% i couldn't capture it for like 30 ~ 40 turns :V ( in pokemon platinum renegade ), wish me luck guys.
I love claydol so I hope I get them

Happy 2026!! I've never left a comment but I found your blog when I was a little kid and would spend hours in the fun section and reading up on how to create my own sprites bc I was obsessed with fakemon and pokemon splices back in the day… One of my core memories is waiting at the dentist for my mom's appointment to be over, scrolling your site on the PC they had set up in the lobby (the PC seems odd in retrospect, but asia things I guess LOL). It's been maybe 15 years since then, and I still randomly remember the blog from time to time and visit to check up on how you're doing. I'm so glad to hear you're doing well and happy to see that you're still posting. I hope this year is a wonderful one for you and everyone reading! Thank you for being a part of my childhood <3
This list used to be SO much longer. So sad that so many wonderful Pokémon sites are long gone now. Sigh.
Whenever the Pokémon Home renders of them get released.

Happy new year! Is there an ETA on when the new Megas will be added to the favorite pokemon picker?
I just wanted to say thank you for keeping this site up all this time. I remember first finding this place when I was a little kid along with what I felt was its equal for Kirby, kirbysrainbowresort.net.
I visited that site a few days ago, and while it's still up, it hasn't been updated since the days of the Wii.
I still use your Favorite Pokemon Picker religiously, and the amount of stuff you have here is wonderful.
Thank you so so so much for this site, it means so much to me!

Nightmare is a condition?!
Shadey enjoys Pokémon casually and through me, but does not participate in online fandom outside of a couple of obscure Discord servers about unrelated things and does not really use social media. He's not averse to online socializing, but he just mostly spends his time on other things.
We have the same sort of Netflix selection as elsewhere, with variations depending on the same rights issues etc. that affect the selection in other countries. I don't know if Netflix even has anything dubbed into Icelandic (if they do, it'd be stuff for kids who might not be able to read subtitles - that's all that ever gets dubbed into Icelandic generally). Currently the government is hoping to entice them to bother with even providing Icelandic subtitles on anything with tax incentives. Iceland is a tiny market, localization costs money, and most people know English and are fine watching their shows in English with English subtitles.
Does Shady have an online presence at all and is he a member of TcOD forums?
Also does Netflix in Iceland only get shows dubbed in Icelandic? Or does it have pretty much most of the shows the UK has?
I have been visiting TCoD since 2007 and am so glad to see it still going strong. Dragonfree, your spriting guides were invaluable to me back in the day, not to mention TQFtL, which I enjoyed following for years until its completion. Happy to read that you’re doing well and happy 2026!
cool
Wow. 2026 and I'm still here. If I went back in time to January 2005 and told eleven-year-old me I'd still be visiting TCoD over two decades later, I'd be amazed. Or maybe not surprised at all, because I expected the old (good) web to last forever and did not anticipate smartphones, social media, or AI ruining it. Regardless, happy 2026, and I'm so glad my favorite fansite on the web (and one of the best parts of my childhood) is still going!
