Sorry for the double post, but I forgot to mention how I came across this new breeding mechanic in X and Y. Well, I was breeding a male Goomy with a Ditto (both from the Friend Safari), and while I WAS trying to get the Hydration Ability, instead my offspring Goomy got the Gooey Hidden Ability instead, on my first try. My Ditto didn't have the Hidden Ability Imposter, it was just my Goomy with his HA. I tried breeding my HA Goomy with a random female Goomy that I caught, but no matter what I did, Gooey didn't transfer over, leading me to believe that it only works with a male and a Ditto. Crazy right? Anyway, you may need to look into it more since I don't know the EXACT figures, but I did get Gooey on my first try, so maybe it's at least a 60% chance or so of passing it on? This page makes me so nostalgic. It's almost entirely unchanged since I first read it twenty-two years ago, and I love that. It really takes me back, and I remember liking that you preferred Gold since that was the one I liked better (though I used to have both). RIP to my original Gold save that was deleted by Stadium 2 and the terrible, evil, glitchy Transfer Pak in 2003. May my friends Lanturn, Pikachu, and Typhlosion never be forgotten.

This website is so helpful! I wanted to know the odds of me catching the paldea legends in color-coordinating pokeballs (luxury ball for ting-lu, nest ball for wo-chien, repeat ball for chi-yu, and dive ball for chien-pao (yes, I know the pokeballs I chose added no catch buff whatsoever, I did it for the colors)), and the catch calculator was extremely helpful for this!
