I haven't played any online multiplayer Pokémon games, no (or rather, I think I tried one for a few minutes sometime way back in the day, but that's it). I have a lot of things on my plate, and finding time to play any video game is already a matter of having to actively prioritize the game over a number of other things. I'm willing to do that for the mainline Pokémon games, which just make me happy and which play a pivotal role in my life via my participation in Pokémon fandom, and sometimes for games whose story I'd like to experience and be able to discuss with others - but I basically never play multiplayer games. I just have too many other things to do with my time!

Have you tried any of the fan made games ? I hear there is a lot and some are amazing.
I'm personally just starting an MMO one called PokeOne with my friend and we're having such a blast. Being able to do the story together, every fight in duo with a friend, trade and battle together at anytime is everything i ever wanted from a pokemon game. I always thought the games would be so much more fun with friends and now thanks to fans we have a lot of online fan games.

What's your take on multiplayer online pokemon games, have you played any ?

Eugh. I was told that the robots would at least be good at math when the uprising came.

Unfortunately that is not even the only 100% AI-generated website that has asked to affiliate with me recently. I am now all too familiar with how bad LLMs are at the Pokémon type chart; they've more or less got the single types down but the moment they start talking about type combinations they start explaining Water/Grass is 4x weak to Flying or whatever.

I assume this was in response to the LLM-powered fanart reselling "venture" asking about affiliation?

Thanks, Butterfree, for taking a stand against commodification of fans' creativity, and for keeping the lights on in the fansite community. It's a shame that the internet's gardens have gotten so thoroughly walled.

The mechanics actually work a bit differently even in FireRed and LeafGreen and are not quite as broken, so don't use this page as an authoritative reference for those games. I should probably make an actual page on those, especially with the Switch port, hmm.

Sez

Was actually looking for Gen 3 but this should pretty much work as well. Thank you very much for your service! I really appreciate it

Maybe! There wasn't exactly a conscious decision to stop watching, but I have many, many other things to watch and too little time to watch them all.

Tyrone

Do you plan to watch the other seasons of MLP FIM?

Commenting on: The Secret Link

This site hits me with a wave of nostalgia. I'm glad to see it still up and trucking. I still haven't found all the secret links, but I intent to keep coming back to try. Happy Pokémon's 30th!

She's done fairly well for herself. She was the voice of Elsa in the Icelandic dub of Frozen and associated media. I haven't seen her too much lately but Silvía Nótt wasn't her last gig by any means.

I prefer when Iceland's Eurovision entries are in Icelandic! I like our language and it makes the songs a lot more distinct.

I watched the first couple seasons of MLP: FiM. It was fun! Rarity was my unexpected favorite pony.

Tyrone

BTW, have you seen MLP FIM? And what's your opinion on it?

Tyrone

With the actress who played Silvía Nótt, is she still famous over there. And could she have improved Iceland's Eurovision chances that year by putting a disclaimer saying it's a satire character?

And do you prefer when iceland send their songs in English or Icelandic?

Affiliation is for fansites, made with love by individual fans for fans. It is not for advertising commercial ventures, which I do not do (see my several FAQ entries on advertising), least of all commercial ventures involving selling AI-generated replicas of other people's art, which is scummy as hell.

Hi, I'm Leah from the Tripo AI team. We've been following and love the energy of your Pokémon community. We recently launched JujuBit, an AI-powered tool that lets fans turn their favorite Pokémon cards or fan art into physical, 3D-printed collectibles—think mini-figures, fridge magnets, and custom display pieces. Essentially, we're helping trainers bring their digital collection into the real world. We'd love to explore a collaboration with you. If you’re open to collaborating, we can also provide compensation for promotional posts or community activities. Would this be something you’d be interested in?
We’d be happy to discuss further collaboration details with you.

I will be voting yes. I'm generally in favor of more international cooperation, but it seems particularly pertinent now.
