Welcome to the Cave of Dragonflies guestbook.
Off-topic discussion is allowed, but spam is not; please make sure all your messages are of substantial meaning that at least somebody would be interested in reading and responding to. That being said, obviously I appreciate comments relating to The Cave of Dragonflies, whether they are error reports, questions, suggestions or whatever else you might want to get across.

It's not "official canon" in the sense that it's likely some kind of a mistake, but the fact is it does happen. A Pokémon's sex is determined by a number between 0 and 255 that's derived from its personality value (and is therefore static throughout the Pokémon's life); depending on its species' sex ratio, there is a certain cutoff point such that any Pokémon whose sex value is lower than the cutoff point is female and Pokémon whose sex value is greater than or equal to the cutoff point are male. Because Azurill has a 75% female sex ratio while Marill and Azumarill are 50% female, the cutoff point is different, meaning any sex value in between the two cutoff points will result in a female Azurill but a male Marill/Azumarill.
Rude, offensive or otherwise inappropriate messages, including drama, controversy or other topics that might make others uncomfortable, will be deleted on sight. Repeat troublemakers will be banned altogether. Please keep any websites entered into the website field reasonably family-friendly. You can use BBCode (forum code) to format your messages.
Giving an e-mail address is optional; if it is given, you will be notified by e-mail if I respond to your post. If you fill in a website (this should be your own website, blog or social media profile), it will be linked publicly on your post.

If you select the Heavy Ball (or another ball where the form might be relevant) and Calyrex, the calculator should give you a form dropdown to specify which form. (Apologies for the late response; I seem to have missed your comment when you made it.)
Ah, I see. If I enter your parameters, it shows Quick Ball alongside Poké Ball and other balls that don't give a bonus under the circumstances, as it should… but what's really happening is that the "Pokémon's form" box is buggy, so that once you chose Crowned Zacian from the box, everything stopped updating. Will fix that, thanks for reporting!

It really is, isn't it. This wasn't the first incarnation of this page but it's definitely an early one. Probably 2004-2005?

Might add as well the different options to raise happiness in Join Avenue in BW2 (Beauty Salon and Café)
The Little Butterfree writing style is strong with this one
I can't tell if it is shiny or not lol.
Ayy i got the Day of Breloom in the Reign of Virizion, Season of the Earth. I am very proud to be born on the day of breloom because i like kangaroos and breloom is a kangaroo
Um… It was helpful ^_^ thx.
Thanks, this guide was very easy to follow
I have nothing to say i just want to brag that I got a shiny paras. It doesn't change mostly anything apart from the mushroom being a pale shade of pink
This was very engaging read. It captured the feeling of how the trick's discovering and spreading could have gone. I felt like I was there.
I remember watching all the videos about Pokemon rumors last decade, before Pokemon Sun & Moon etc. finding the stuff about older games more fascinating. This post has a similar vibe, but it's based on real events.
My frustration with fake videogame tricks came from a post about there being a shot gun in Zombies ate my neighbours in Snes. It told, what level it was supposed to be, but I found nothing. I played the game emulated, so atleast I could use save state.
another longtime fan here and omg same :D
