Welcome to the Cave of Dragonflies guestbook.
we are familiar with your sleazy politics Hely, it was cute when you're 15 but you're too old for such games now
It would be nice if we were inaccurate Helen but if that was the case your forums wouldn't have gone through the so-called drama it did throughout the last 10 years. Everything would've been smooth and A-okay, just like in many other forums. I think you can agree that yours was no where close to such place, our only disagreement? We believe its you that's completely at fault.
If you take a closer look you will see that most drama were centered around particular subjects; Mod Abuse and to what others identified as the "Kool Kids Krew", your forums DID witness a wave of change in the last 3 years, many mods, for starters, are now banned and even demodded which is a good step. However If your forums, or rather, your attitude was absolutely perfect, this place wouldn't have gone through a decade of instability. Better yet, there wouldn't have been major changes such as this one - but only after continuous pressure from members, of course. Remember when you and Nidokingu went as far as to ban topics that fuse drama?
Our only warning is that the so-called wave of change won't last as long as your dictatorial attitude stays where it is.
Allow people to make mistakes - just let the culture of this place grow naturally. How you think you can dictate what this place can or can't be by force is the source to all its problems.
These words are that of many. Go through your forums history and you will see a few topics talking about similar subjects. If not exactly the same subject. You can behave as if such criticism are absolutely inaccurate even though our voices have been echoing within the last 10 years, over and over - Your close-mindedness to criticism evidently proves your arrogance.
Rude, offensive or otherwise inappropriate messages, including drama, controversy or other topics that might make others uncomfortable, will be deleted on sight. Repeat troublemakers will be banned altogether. You can use BBCode (forum code) to format your messages.
Giving an e-mail address is optional; if it is given, you will be notified by e-mail if I respond to your post. If you fill in a website (this should be your own website, blog or social media profile), it will be linked publicly on your post; however, messages obviously posted solely as a pretext for advertising, or advertising shady or inappropriate websites, will be deleted.

If you go left through the grass and up before the Aroma Lady fight here, there is a hidden max repel when you click on the rock. That info was missing (currently using your amazing guide to play and found thus item). I thought you might like to know :)
It means that one of the encounter slots changes if you use pokeradar. If you don't use pokeradar, it uses whatever is in the "Not using pokeradar" box. So just don't turn on the pokeradar and you're good.
The encounter slot is called "Pokeradar" because the idea is that it can ONLY be affected by using the pokeradar, so time of day, swarm, and dual slot don't ever change what's in that slot. Only pokeradar does.
This surprises me beacuase I fought zapdos on my first ultra ball
Hi I would like to understand how I can capture a level 35 madicham

while being in the pokeradar slot but also fulfilling the condition not using pokeradar.
I am very confused by this.
Kind Regards,

I love creating Pokémon, and I wanted to share one. Please let me know if you like it if you have time!
Waviper
is inspired by a water snake. It's a water type. I was thinking about making it a water-ice evolution, but I haven't created one yet.
Appearance: It's light blue, with dark blue crystal-shaped scales. It has three bubbles on its tail that resemble rattlesnake rattles. Shiny is light green, and the bubbles are aqua green.
Pokédex: It was carried to land by the waves. It's loved by children and shares the bubbles it creates with them. The noise it makes with its rattles is reminiscent of sea waves.
Height (or rather length): 1.7 meters
Weight: 5.5 kg
Classification: Wave
Ability: Water Veil
Stats: HP 40 ATK 50 DEF 45 SP ATK 65 SP DEF 35 SPEED 55

You have no idea how long I've been searching for one of these templates that isn't either AI or stupidly bad, this is so good, I love it, I wish you eternal cold pillows and eternal delicious food, thank you, and i will proceed to use thise 4 times and then completely forget about it
Great content, I especially appreciate the shoutout to Fisherman Tommy, where most people only speak about Fisherman Ronald for EV training attack!
Ack, I messed up the BBC tags. My apologies; feel free to correct on your end and delete this message if that's something you can do (if not I will shamefully accept my place on the wall of immortalized internet typos 😔)
Just to let you know, the link at the end of the Includes[\b] section currently leads to a 404 page
(I know what Clue 3 means but I still can't find the Secret Link. Surely I must be close 😭)
You might have accidentally typed an extra space after the name? Come to think of it, the game ought to just automatically strip it out if that happens; let me just do that real quick…

Wait, what??
I’m referring to legendary Pokémon in gen 3 (they all have the same catch rate). There’s no difference between exactly 1hp and 11 percent hp if trying to catch a sleeping or paralyzed mewtwo with timer balls or ultra balls.
That depends entirely on which Pokémon you're trying to catch! In the first generation there's no point lowering its HP past 33%, but in the subsequent generations the catch rate can keep improving all the way down to 1 HP, depending on how the rounding shakes out. No point lowering it beyond 12% might be the case with the particular Pokémon you were looking at, but if you look at a different Pokémon you'll see different catch rates and different thresholds for where exactly it maxes out.
So when catching legendaries, sleep and chuck is the optimal strategy (even if it's Mewtwo). Reducing the HP will have a minimal effect on the catch rate (22% vs 24%). Paralysis is viable too, though clearly inferior to sleep. And although Ultra Balls are best, Great Balls and even regular Poke Balls provide a decent enough chance.
So False Swipe is overrated as there's no advantage to getting the wild Pokemon to 1 HP versus <12% HP (and getting it that low is only relevant if you're using Timer Balls; you only need <25% with Ultra Balls). Super Fang is the way to go, unless you have a level 100 Farfetch'd or something crazy.
