Welcome to the Cave of Dragonflies guestbook.
Off-topic discussion is allowed, but spam is not; please make sure all your messages are of substantial meaning that at least somebody would be interested in reading and responding to. That being said, obviously I appreciate comments relating to The Cave of Dragonflies, whether they are error reports, questions, suggestions or whatever else you might want to get across.

It's been a few years, and whenever I think of TCoD, I just imagine what would a country be if Helen was in control? She loves talking about liberalism all across your forums. Her attitude however, in the way she controls the forums from A to Z proves otherwise; until today, she's the most fascist individual I have ever met.
1. The so called "Rules" works as Filtering rather than actual rules. For starters, it literally doesn't let you in if you don't fully read them. I heard this addition is no longer there and I hope that's true, but overall; it dictates what kind of person you MUST be to join the forums, It's hardly about 'rules'. This comes in the degree of 'Warnings' for things such as posting to many emoticons, 'flaming' (30 points?), 'backseat modding', 'bad english', it's almost as if these forums want to be in control of it's image, and it's people, than to just give people to space to be. The number of people banned from the forums simply for being different, is a great indicator. Why is it that other forums are relaxed about how their people behave, unless it gets absolutely serious - while this one pressures people's to the tip of their mind? "Am I saying this right", "is this post in the right forums..", and the constant justification people make after they make a topic, from "I was bored" to "i'm not sure this is in the right place bu i concluded it is because ect", just reflects such pressure.
2. Selectivity in mods. You're modding method is simple: You mod people who are exactly like you. People as uptight and as aggressive and as arrogant as you are. No one would dare think he has the freedom to be himself under this great leadership.
2. Corruption. See; Furret. There's obvious selectivity in who is allowed in the forums, and who isn't.
TCoD limits creativity and freedom of thought. More to come later, take care

Sleep still works the way it describes; the page generally states the current way it works as the default and then notes where it was different in previous generations. There was one bit where it talked about the "sixth and seventh" generations that was meant to be sixth onwards and I just hadn't updated that sentence when I updated it for the eighth and ninth generation; I have fixed that.
Burns and poison have always dealt the same damage, I believe, unless it's bad poisoning.
Just so I have a clearer idea of what you're hoping for: how would you class cross-generational evolutions? Would you want to see Obstagoon in Gen III with Galarian Linoone and Clodsire in Gen II with Paldean Wooper, or do those stay in the generation where they were introduced? If the former, would you also want to see Pichu and Tangrowth in Gen I?
Most of it is in my webmaster sections! They're a bit old and some of the advice is a little out of date or not quite how I'd put it today, but for the most part it's still valid. Good luck with your site!
How does sleep work in newer generations? And I remember burn dealing less damage than poison
I'd love a feature that includes regionals into whatever gen the original was in. Like if I sorted to have just gen 1 I could include regionals like alolan vulpix or alolan raichu. I personally consider them gen 1. I consider regionals the gen the original is from. It annoying having to add all the other gens just to get the regionals when I wanna pick only gen 1 pokemon. Same applies to mega and gmax. I wanna pick gen 1 with regionals, mega and gmax included.
Hello! Do you have any advice for a new up-and-coming Pokemon fansite? Thank you!
Happy birthday

Hooray!!
"Base Pokémon" is now one of the options under "Include forms", so you can exclude them. Let me know if you have any issues!
There's no way to filter them out right now, no… I could add that, feels like a pretty reasonable use case.
Awesome, I'm Arcanine!
I love your web site. I've been looking at it and using your guides for the last 2-3 years. It made me so nostalgic for older internet that it made me want to make my own site and contribute something to the community. Thanks for all of the love and effort you've put in here. I will probably reach out to you soon to apply for affiliation.
Is there a way to filter out default forms? I wanted to go through and rank all the Mega Evolutions but it looks like I can't get *just* Megas
I know that pokemon.
Enjoy the walkthrough, it's like reading a novel.
This was the best April Fools joke I saw this year. I literally laughed out loud when I saw the first "sponsor" code.
This guy showed up 3 times
…
After 2007, I've always associated today's date with this specific website. And this year didn't disappoint either. Kudos
