as i find myself in my personal Indie Web Era, returning to the internet habits of my childhood with the small web revival movement of neocities and nekoweb and other communities, i find myself coming back to this site a whole lot. every time i see your link on someone's button wall, i end up coming back here. i spent a LOT of time on your site as a kid, always thinking of it as the pinnacle of what i wanted my own website to be when i was constantly trying, failing, and wishing to make a site of my own. now i have one, and that's real cool, and your site continues to serve as an inspiration—how funny that life can circle back that way! thank you for continuing to keep and share your passion all this time, and for galvanizing me to keep and share mine, too!

Hmm, I hadn't thought about doing that, but perhaps that'd be a neat thing to add! It wouldn't be super hard to implement, since I've got a database with multilingual names.
Will Pokémon names in other languages be available in the future?
Unfortunate! If you don't have Pokémon in your autocorrect dictionary, then you should probably turn autocorrect off before playing this game. Turning it off for the field in general might be annoying for people who do have Pokémon in their autocorrect dictionaries and make a typo!
Which game are you playing? There are no rocks or bait in Scarlet and Violet, which are what this calculator is for.

Do you remember and know what happened to Suita Ratio and Mewtwofan's Pokemon site
Is there a way to calculate the catch rate alterations made when throwing rocks or bait at the pokemon? Right now, I see no option for this, but I think the option should show up if you use the Safari Ball as the ball you caught the pokemon in.

I am so glad that someone created this calculator. I just want to share that I am on the couch with my best friend watching him play through Sword for the first time, and he is trying to catch Zacian in a luxury ball. Being able to see his actual, approximate chances is very fulfilling and I deeply appreciate you putting in the time to make this! Thanks for livening up this experience!

Uuuunfortunately that's the 2D Sugimori-style art, not the Home-style renders. Totally different style that would stick out like a sore thumb next to everything else, and also no shiny versions. So these are not usable for the picker. Aaaagh Pokémon Home was supposed to solve the "no consistent set of images for Pokémon" problem

Dude, i'm trying to capture this zapdos but zamn, even with hypnosis and on 1% i couldn't capture it for like 30 ~ 40 turns :V ( in pokemon platinum renegade ), wish me luck guys.
