Welcome to the Cave of Dragonflies guestbook.
Um, hating people because they default to a male pronoun when there is no way to know the gender of the person is a bit extreme, don't you think? No need to be so offended.
The thing about sex is that if you don't know about it already, most non-explicit discussion of it is simply going to fly right over your head. I know this from personal experience. Something possessed me to start reading Brave New World when I was nine; that book is full of sex, but when I reread it years later I could have sworn it simply was not there when I first read it, because while I remembered the story of what went on decently I did not remember a word of that. The reason? I didn't understand it, and thus it just went in one ear and out the other, so to speak.
Similarly, many G or PG-rated movies vaguely imply the existence of sex, but it's okay because you're not going to get it unless you know there is something to get; it's perfectly safe as long as nothing is actually shown or graphically discussed.
What I actually say in the conspiracy theory is extremely innocent - it's just that babies come from somewhere that's not the stork. The bit about the Do Not Disturb sign can get a chuckle out of people who know what I mean, but if they do there's no real harm in it, and if you don't know what I mean, you're just not going to get it and will shrug it off instead.
The In-Game Humour section has a special PG-13 warning at the top, so I think I can permit myself to be ever so slightly more suggestive there. Nonetheless, that section is still not explicit in any way. If kids are here ignoring warnings, they have far greater problems to deal with than the In-Game Humour, what with Morphic and The Fall of a Leader.

The mechanics actually work a bit differently even in FireRed and LeafGreen and are not quite as broken, so don't use this page as an authoritative reference for those games. I should probably make an actual page on those, especially with the Switch port, hmm.
Was actually looking for Gen 3 but this should pretty much work as well. Thank you very much for your service! I really appreciate it
That's really cool! RIP Jolteon tho :(
Maybe! There wasn't exactly a conscious decision to stop watching, but I have many, many other things to watch and too little time to watch them all.
Do you plan to watch the other seasons of MLP FIM?
This site hits me with a wave of nostalgia. I'm glad to see it still up and trucking. I still haven't found all the secret links, but I intent to keep coming back to try. Happy Pokémon's 30th!
She's done fairly well for herself. She was the voice of Elsa in the Icelandic dub of Frozen and associated media. I haven't seen her too much lately but Silvía Nótt wasn't her last gig by any means.
I prefer when Iceland's Eurovision entries are in Icelandic! I like our language and it makes the songs a lot more distinct.
I watched the first couple seasons of MLP: FiM. It was fun! Rarity was my unexpected favorite pony.
BTW, have you seen MLP FIM? And what's your opinion on it?
With the actress who played Silvía Nótt, is she still famous over there. And could she have improved Iceland's Eurovision chances that year by putting a disclaimer saying it's a satire character?
And do you prefer when iceland send their songs in English or Icelandic?
Affiliation is for fansites, made with love by individual fans for fans. It is not for advertising commercial ventures, which I do not do (see my several FAQ entries on advertising), least of all commercial ventures involving selling AI-generated replicas of other people's art, which is scummy as hell.
Hi, I'm Leah from the Tripo AI team. We've been following and love the energy of your Pokémon community. We recently launched JujuBit, an AI-powered tool that lets fans turn their favorite Pokémon cards or fan art into physical, 3D-printed collectibles—think mini-figures, fridge magnets, and custom display pieces. Essentially, we're helping trainers bring their digital collection into the real world. We'd love to explore a collaboration with you. If you’re open to collaborating, we can also provide compensation for promotional posts or community activities. Would this be something you’d be interested in?
We’d be happy to discuss further collaboration details with you.
I will be voting yes. I'm generally in favor of more international cooperation, but it seems particularly pertinent now.
What are your thoughts on Iceland's EU referendum? Do you want to join?
Silvía Nótt is a parody character played by actress Ágústa Eva Erlendsdóttir - think Sacha Baron Cohen's characters like Borat or Ali G. In Iceland she existed as the star of an interview show similar to and inspired by Da Ali G Show, where she, in character as this incredibly ditzy, obnoxious diva, would interview people who thought she was for real for the entertainment value of her ridiculousness contrasted against how the interviewees reacted to her. (Disclaimer: I never watched her show myself, but that's what I understand it was like.)
Her Eurovision song was similarly an obvious parody sung in character as this ridiculously self-important fictional character. In the Icelandic version, the chorus literally starts "Congratulations, Iceland, on me being born here", and the backup dancers were dressed like security guards in suits and sunglasses only to dramatically pull of their pants at the climax. She acted rude and obnoxious and preposterously awful in all the interviews around it in Iceland, too, because that was the joke and the whole point of her character!
One way or another, though, the official English translation and staging kind of muted the obvious parody nature of it to the point that people outside of Iceland couldn't even tell that it was a parody and a parody character and just thought she was an actual obnoxiously self-important diva, so all in all her entry was a big flop in the actual contest, nobody really got the joke, and the whole thing was kind of embarrassing.
So she was not cancelled, because she is not a real person, and the entire point of her was to be like that.
Was watching clips of classic Eurovision entries and one came up that made want to find out more. What was the reaction in Iceland to their Eurovision 2006 Sylvia Night entry and the way she conducted herself in interviews (she was kicking journalists out and being very rude). I remember reading news articles with people claling her behaviour a disgrace and being mad at the way she acted.
So just wondering if in Iceland she got cancelled, a bad reputation, or thrived off the negative rep. And was she famous prior to Eurovision and was she always thia arrogant and rude?
Really good information! It helps me to write content in better way.
cool
My oldest affiliate is Pokémon Rebirth, which has been around since 2001, although it didn't become an affiliate until 2005, and technically the project is now complete so the site is dormant since 2021. Sneasel Plushie, though, is also an affiliate since 2005 and last updated this December.
Who is your longest affiliate at this point? And are there any old Pokemon fansites from 2006 that are still updated 20 years later (othen than the big ones)?
Happy Pokémon Day! To celebrate, I finally figured out that my top 5 Pokémon are Rotom, Unown, Arceus, Ho-oh, and Zoroark!
