I rather like tangrowth and tangela. I'm not quite sure what tangela is supposed to be aside from a tangle of blueish vines, but I do know that tangrowth is really just supposed to be a larger tangela. Has anyone ever noticed that a LOT of the 'biggest' animal species have larger, extinct relatives? The ostrich is the biggest bird alive, but the elephant bird and the moa were bigger. The saltwater crocodile is the biggest crocodillian, but deinosuchus was about four times it's size. Komodo dragons are the biggest lizard, but then megalania was about three times their size (there's a lot more huge extinct animals, but I don't feel like listing them). See where I'm going? Tangrowth is based off giant extinct relatives. Of course, you probably already knew that.

Yes; click the "Options" tab next to "Found Favorites" and then check "Regional variants" under "Include forms". Note that by default they will be classified as the generation that introduced the regional variant (e.g. VII for Alolan forms); if you're also filtering by generation and would like to see regional variants of the Pokémon in that generation, you'll also want to select "Count forms as generation of base Pokémon" instead of "generation of introduction".
Is there a way to get regional variants in the Pokémon Picker?
In Colosseum, once you've purified all the Shadow Pokémon, you can get a Ho-Oh by clearing Mt. Battle in Battle Mode. I don't think anything like that is unlocked when you've purified every Pokémon in XD, though it has been a long time.
So…. what happens if you purified every Pokémon ? Anything cool happens ?

Late, but this was such a CURSED April Fool's idea, it's delightful! In hindsight I totally should have anticipated that you might do something in this vein. I can see what you meant about the writing part being a bit tricky. You did a nice job of keeping it ambiguous about whether you were talking about a human baby or a literal caterpie through the early part of the page. You also absolutely nailed the skeezy mom-influencer vibes!
There are some nice stories here (and some less nice ones), but you know what the people really want? "The Type Chart." The Pokémaniacs of the world DEMAND a conclusion to the greatest "Matrix" parody of 2003 … it can't be any worse than "Revolutions" was!
