So I'm not the only one with the randomly whitening DS top screen and broken hinge :O But yeah, the hinge broke when I dropped it. The DS I mean, not the hinge.
My first game console was a Game Boy Advance. I think the color was called Glacier? And then a few years ago when Piloswine was my favorite Pokémon I printed out some small pictures of it and used double-sided tape to stick them to my GBA, so now instead of the Nintendo symbol at the top it says "Number 221" and on the handles of my weird charger thing it was random peeling bits of tape and Piloswine pictures xD

This page makes me so nostalgic. It's almost entirely unchanged since I first read it twenty-two years ago, and I love that. It really takes me back, and I remember liking that you preferred Gold since that was the one I liked better (though I used to have both). RIP to my original Gold save that was deleted by Stadium 2 and the terrible, evil, glitchy Transfer Pak in 2003. May my friends Lanturn, Pikachu, and Typhlosion never be forgotten.

This website is so helpful! I wanted to know the odds of me catching the paldea legends in color-coordinating pokeballs (luxury ball for ting-lu, nest ball for wo-chien, repeat ball for chi-yu, and dive ball for chien-pao (yes, I know the pokeballs I chose added no catch buff whatsoever, I did it for the colors)), and the catch calculator was extremely helpful for this!
My favorite thing about Pokémon are the old school fansites and forums, like TCoD. I've loved Pokémon since I was little, but it wasn't until I got online and found sites like this one, Mew's Hangout, Mewtwofan's Pokémon Page, Suta-Raito, etc. that I truly fell in love with the series. The fact that most modern fans think the Internet was invented in 2010 and have no idea these old sites existed makes me so sad.
