Commenting on: Spriting Guide

I only just stumbled on this goldmine. I have 0 artistic experience but have started spriting for fun, and I actually have been doing pixel-overs thinking I was cheating lol. So happy to know it's a known accepted strategy and there's so many things here for me to try now.

Was there ever a detailed outling-shading guide made? It's something I struggle with the most. Thanks!

That doesn't appear to have been a shiny, unfortunately! Sometimes I do a double-take too but the Home renders are just like that sometimes, I think.

A majority of Icelanders want to boycott, me included.

I did see the film; it was actually extremely popular in Iceland, despite being a very inaccurate depiction of Iceland for the most part. The worries that having to host Eurovision would bankrupt Iceland are one of the more accurate bits, though. We could proooobably make it work, but it would have to involve, like, converting an old aircraft hangar into a temporary stadium, and really trying to fleece the tourists.

How do you feel about Iceland potentially boycotting Eurovision next year? If they do how will Icelanders likely react to this news?

Speaking of Eurovision, if Iceland ever won it would they be able to host it? (There was a film about Eurovision and Iceland (not sure if you've seen it) and they said it would bankrupt the country) Would it likely bankrupt Iceland?

Gilbert

I'm just commenting because I think I got a shiny and almost didn't notice.
This is even the old odds, I'm always playing pokémon and I never find one, and now I find one in a website? Thank you, for your features. I love it, specially the design, which remembers me of old websites.

First off, great job with writing this up. I was under the impression that the 2ch thread was the original but it seems it doesn't match up timeline wise. It's unknown if they saw that 2002 cheats page in English, but I highly doubt it. I think they might have discovered it on their own, and they didn't even write it up as a method to get Mew.

I think it's just incredibly strange that it got discovered in 2002, considering that at the time Crystal was the newest game out in the US, and Japan was about to get Ruby and Sapphire. Think about how often old games would get played back then, and it's even stranger it wouldn't have been found around 1999, and 2000 when it's popularity was at its peak. Pokemon definitely felt like it had a decline in interest after Crystal in my opinion.

However, despite all of that, I read there was another person in Japan that discovered the glitch on their own and called it the special encounter glitch. I think it eventually would have been found out, and it was only matter of time. It's just a shame that Gen 3 blocked off any connectivity with Gen 1 and Gen 2 which put a big damper on the impact of this discovery.

Nice! Electric is my favourite type. I’m a libra, and Tapu Koko and really fits the vibe of an air sign like me. ⚡️

I haven't played Rescue Team DX myself, but have been told that it does!

zowayix

Do you know if the Rescue Team DX remake fixes the Friend Area issue in the last paragraph?
