Hmm, I hadn't thought about doing that, but perhaps that'd be a neat thing to add! It wouldn't be super hard to implement, since I've got a database with multilingual names.

Unfortunate! If you don't have Pokémon in your autocorrect dictionary, then you should probably turn autocorrect off before playing this game. Turning it off for the field in general might be annoying for people who do have Pokémon in their autocorrect dictionaries and make a typo!

Good catch, looks like Sirfetch'd was coded in with a curly apostrophe instead of a straight one like you'd generally type on a normal keyboard. I've fixed it now.

Would it be possible to have a sort of reverse mode where you’re shown the Pokemon and have to guess the dex number?

As in, showing the number of the Pokémon you guessed? That's a neat idea; I'll definitely consider adding that.
Is there any way this game could show how far off your guess was from the correct pokemon?

I used this to memorize & recite pokémon in natdex order in high school, truly proving to my psych that I was Not Autistic™️.
I don't know if I have the brain capacity to memorise all of the pokedex numbers but I'm sure it'll be fine.
