It's obviously supposed to be a spider (or a tarantula anyway, but close enough). It's probably just missing legs for the same reason you get four-fingered hands in cartoons - it simplifies the design.

Yes, I am planning to update the sprite generator, but no, not with animations - largely because the sprite generator is thought as a tool for spriters, and spriters have little use for animations.

I'm surprised on how consistent the main games are on item names; I thought in HG and SS the Apricorns would have been renamed. Parlyz Heal, unfortunately, mixes me up when I try to spell paralyse.



By the way, do you have any plans to update the random sprite generator in the near future? If you do, are planning on including the animated sprites?
