What's so bad about splashes? Yes, they make people visit an extra page, but can't you just put a link so that you only end up there if you want to?

Ugh. I can't get on the forums. Sure, I can log in and stuff, but it always gives me the "server is busy, please try again later" message.
What top page?
The splash checked for the presence of a style cookie and if there was one present, redirected to the front page. The exact code wouldn't be very helpful unless you happened to be using exactly the same programming language.
Are you sure that's the same old Splash? I don't remember the top page. Also- what code did you use so it only appears once?

Hello! This is my first time signing the guest book, but I have watched your site for a long time. I hate to see the splash page go, but it's alright, it's not the end of the world or anything. :P
It's accessible on the Mascots page where it always has been, as well as on the link that used to be on the menu - but it's just the same old splash, because as I said, there is no 4,500,000 front page hits splash.
Hey, Butterfree- is the splash still accessible like the other, older ones are?
