By all means feel free just to chat in the guestbook - as long as it's not spam!
Anybody with Admin below their name is definitely me or a trusted person. I myself will always sign as Butterfree. If somebody signs under that name but does not have the Admin label, it is most likely an impostor.
There's something really heartwarming about discovering other long running Pokemon fansites that are still doing their thing even now. Fourteen years, eh? That's fantastic!
Happy birthday to my number one favorite Pokémon site of all time! :D Here's to more and more years of awesomeness!
lol, happy birthday, then! Hope you're excited for another year.

Congrats and happy birthday! I'm glad TCoD was always here for me
Happy Birthday TCOD!
Hi! Man, it's been a while since I was last here, haha! I actually went through the marquee again, and wow. I was actually shocked to see it updated. Things like that on most sites are never checked again, so I'm very impressed!
The site has changed from the last time I was here, and I have got to say - it's a pretty cool change. Or maybe I'm seeing the same thing and it's just not registering…? I can't remember all the sites I visited back when I was younger. Last time I was here was maybe…4, 5 years ago? My memory isn't the best when it comes to long term. Ah well, before this becomes too long (as is a habit for me!) I just wanted to say this site is very well done, and very smooth to navigate through.
Thank you for this~
Yeah, it was intentional, although I honestly can't recall exactly why I wanted it that way.
I just logged in on at the forum (which I've never really used, despite having an account there for like 8 years), but I had to go through the password reset process.
But, the weird thing is that I got two password reset emails. Apparently, I have two accounts on the forum, both tied to the same email address. I'm not sure why I have two (both accounts are almost completely unused), but I'm more surprised that you can have multiple accounts tied to the same email. Is that intentional?
I was using the hover-over lol but if i'm the only one there is no need to reimplement it hahaha
When I posted a thread at the QftL forum it there was an error that said the application might be overloaded but it posted the thread anyway.
Website: My YouTube Channel :D
I took the personality test and got Mew kthxbai
I couldn't get that to work… eh, maybe I just need to click even more :P Thanks anyway
You can - just click the name and it'll place a cursor there and let you edit it.
Yo, is there a way to rename custom types in the interactive type chart? If there is it either ain't working for me or I can't figure out how to get to it.
I actually just removed that feature because I wasn't sure anyone was even using it and it seemed like more trouble than it was worth to reimplement it (either do a similar hack as I was doing before, where updating the Quest Blog modifies a file that the main site reads; connect to a whole extra database on every pageview just to fetch this one piece of text that will only actually appear if the user hovers over a particular link; or make up some new, different implementation from scratch). If you actually were using it, I may have to reconsider. :P
Hover-over for the Quest blog doesn't seem to be working. I use Firefox if that matters

the april fools 2012 page (in icelandic) isn't working
Yes I enjoyed the game mechanics section a lot, I also enjoyed browsing through the forums quite a bit. Thank you.
I've been running this site since November 2nd 2002 - so, closing in on fourteen years now.
I'm not sure what you mean by "making the most" out of this website; it's mostly static content rather than any kind of service you could be making the most of. Are you just wondering what some of the best content on here is? If you're interested in the video games and how they work, I'd definitely recommend taking a look at some of the game mechanics sections, particularly the R/B/Y ones (so, the Gen I Capture Mechanics, R/B/Y Safari Zone, and the R/B/Y Stat Modification section. It's less well-known stuff than your typical Pokémon site game mechanics and I at least think it's some of the coolest stuff I've ever done (I personally analyzed some of the assembly code used by the games to get this information).
If game mechanics aren't your thing, well, what is? There's a lot of stuff on here; you could just browse around and see what pages there are.
