Update

06/20/13: Interactive Type Chart, Finally

This has taken way, way, way too long, but here, at last, is the Interactive Type Chart. I, at least, think it's pretty neat.

I will probably mess around with the user interface and try to improve the performance later, but for now I just wanted to get the thing up now that it all seems to work as it's supposed to. Please tell me if you discover anything out of order, describing exactly what you did before things went screwy.

The next thing for the site is moving it to a different server, which is nice because the server it's on right now is pretty spectacularly old and terrible. The new server is already bought and paid for and appears to be running, but that still leaves the task of, you know, moving the tangled mass of thousands of disorganized files that make up this site over there, and getting it all to run as it's supposed to on the new shiny server software. I will update when we're running on the new server, which is going to have to be sometime before the twelfth of July because that's when they're going to shut the old server off. Before that, actually, because on the twelfth of July I'm going to be in Las Vegas on my honeymoon and hopefully I'm not going to spend that poring over servers.

Thanks to Alti for a lot of beta testing that weeded out several bugs.

889 Fun fact: The above sprite has a 1/8192 chance of being shiny. Feel free to brag if you get one.

You have to congratulate me. :P Well, not now per se; we've signed the paperwork, but officially the wedding happens on July 3rd.

Wait, "honeymoon"?…

Did I miss some sarcastic joke or do I now have to congratulate you.

Flying/Flying isn't given as a type combo for gen 4, even though Sky Plate Arceus can be pure Flying. (Also, Color Change Kecleon, but that's sketchy.)

The chart is made to be easy to add to. In fact, Fairy is already in the behind-the-scenes data - I just won't make the sixth-generation base chart selectable until all of its relations are fully confirmed.

Hopefully the Fairy type won't be too difficult to add to the chart. :b

Haha, I know the feeling. Of all type combinations, those are the hardest to remember.

…This actually reminds me that I'm pretty sure I hastily put those down as having happened in the fourth generation last night when I was adding the "existing in generation X" feature. Whoops. Will have to fix when I get home.

I spent like ten minutes hopelessly confused trying to figure out in what universe was there an Electric/Fire type before finally caving in and going over every electric type in Bulbapedia only to remember those freaking Rotom forms got new types in Gen 5. I'ma go crawl under the rock of shame now.

(Btw nice type chart.)
