Some of the names are all right, I guess, but Nintendo could NOT have been less creative with the names or Dialga and Palkia. They just incorporated the version they're exclusive to.

Pearl = Palkia
If they'd done this with previous games, Kyogre would be something like Saphale, and Groudon would be Rubusaur or some dumb name like that.

I read that section on TCoD that talked about stuff like bad English names on RSE, but this is different. I seriously hate it. Really. If I ever get Arceus, you can bet your sweet tail I'll nickname it Aruseus.

Yes, mispronunciation. The official romanization (i.e. what they were actually going for with the name) is "Arseus". The first u is meant to be silent.

Aruseusu probably got named Arceus in the English versions because Arseus would anger certain parents.
Purugly is horrible - there are many Pokemon that also deserves ugly in their names. And the Japanese name is Fat, cat-sound (nya) and cat deromanised.
Yukishii... Yuxie looks better than Uxie.

"Aruseusu" is the direct romanization of the Japanese name. The actual katakana symbols in its name are "a ru se u su". However, this is because the symbols stand for syllables, not individual letters - there is no such thing as a katakana for just "s". Therefore, to write "Arseus", they had to write it "a ru se u su". Then Arceus is just an alternate romanization of the same thing.

Unfortunately, just because the parents are shiny, doesn't mean that the kid will be, too. In fact, it doesn't change the odds at all.
The Champion wasn't all that hard for me. My Lucario took out her last 3 Pokemon alone.

Munchlax can be found in the trees around the Fuego Ironworks. They're insanely rare, though. After a while I just gave up, transferred over a Snorlax from my GBA, gave it a FUll Incense, and bred it with a Ditto to get Munchlax.

Arcues sounds bad... but the stupid thind deserves it. The "U" in Uxie is from "umber" Me(genta)spirit (yes I KNOW its misspelled) and Az(ure)elf. Bidoof and Uxie are my only two problems (everything else deserves their name) and Uxie isn't THAT bad. Bidoof on the other hand suggests ginea pigs are stupid which is unacceptable!!! According to a(fairly)recent pokemon episode,Vespiquen is not pronounced as 'Vespiqueen' but instead is pronounced as it looks.
Oh,copper?doesn't look like that to me,more light brownish,if it is copper,they could've made it shinier looking.Apparently it is not the site that is dead,but the CoST is,considering there is no other updates.I accept your apology Flypower,so it's all Water off a Psyduck's back?And the ONLY way you can have an Arceus is,drumroll please.....if you cheat or a friend of yours does.

I beat the Elite Four on May 15th, 2007, with 14 or so hours of play. I can't exactly check, because the only DS I have access to is the glitchiest DS Lite on EARTH (My old style DS broke in half; I have anger issues ;_;), which is my sister's. I once was checking my Pokedex on her DS Lite, and when I came back, EVERY SINGLE PERSON was the color of the mountains, even the ones that weren't standing on the mountain. On my Mystery Dungeon Darkness, instead of moves, it said Yes. As in, the word "Yes" with a period after it. Seriously.
