Iron Island (B2F left)

Where?

You sail to it from Canalave. Just talk to the sailor who is standing with his boat on a pier on the left side of the canal near the bottom and he'll offer to take you to the island. 1F is where you enter the cave, B1F left and right are the sections accessed depending on whether you take the left or right staircase down from there. B1F left is a dead end, but on B1F right, go right and a bit down, up the stairs, continue right, go down the next stairs near the top right corner of the room, go down from there, down around the trainer and up the stairs at the bottom right, then left and on the elevator to get to where you can go down the stairs on the left or right to B2F left or right. B3F is accessed from B2F left: from the stairs, go left to where the first Hiker is, go down from there, left and then down the very narrow path below the oil barrel, which will take you to the right and then down. There will be a staircase on your left; go up that, down past the Ace Trainers and all the way to the bottom, left up the stairs and then onto the elevator. Going left through the cave exit will take you to B3F.

Notes

In Platinum, there is a little room near the exit containing a Hard Stone; if you have an event Regigigas in your party, this room will allow you to battle Registeel (level 30).

How to read this table

The bolded horizontal headings stand for the main condition that affects the following slots; the big cells on the left side describe which circumstances must apply for the rows they span to be active. The percentages tell you the chance of a Pokémon from this slot (row) appearing for any given wild encounter, provided the condition on the left holds. Each condition (i.e. each bolded horizontal heading) always has the same number of slots actually active.

If all this confuses you, and I don't blame you, just set the conditions in the form above to what actually applies for you right now, which will hide all the inactive slots and leave only the Pokémon you're actually going to be seeing. This will also recalculate the statistics at the bottom of the table accordingly.
